The Hemealumen has six light sources with known biological benefits based on current research. The benefits include:

• Red Light (625, 650 nm) – Supports DNA and stimulates key enzymes such as SOD and catalase which enhance mitochondrial energy, improve blood flow, and many other functions. Red light also stimulates collagen production and decreases inflammation. Stimulates the immune system by activating T-cells and macrophages. Has a coagulation-inhibiting effect and inhibits platelet aggregation.
• Infrared Light (810 nm) – Stimulates the synthesis and release of nitric oxide (NO) from Cytochrome C Oxidase (CCO), promoting vasodilation, oxygen delivery, and cellular signaling. Infrared light stimulates ATP production, so very helpful where chronic fatigue is an issue.
• Green Light (525 nm) – Improves oxygen supply and strong anti-inflammatory effect.
